BEGINNER SKIERS/BOARDERS: Learning how to ski or snowboard is exciting, and Showdown has fantastic options to make sure you have a great time! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Rin@BozemanUMC to discuss which lifts, rentals, and lessons would be best for each student’s skill level.

If you are renting equipment and/or enrolling in lessons, the retreat coordinator will send you the necessary form(s) to make reservations as soon as registration closes. Please fill them out by February 10.

Scholarships are available up to the full cost of retreat to ensure every student has the opportunity to attend and have a good experience. If you would like a scholarship, please enter the amount requested at the bottom of the section.

*I, parent/guardian of the above registered participant, give my student permission to accompany their Youth Group to Montana Youth Winter Retreat at Camp Rotary and Showdown Ski Area from February 14-16. I understand that while traveling, my student will be riding in a volunteer’s vehicle or church van with full coverage car insurance. I understand that while attending the retreat, my student will be covered by my own health insurance if they are injured. I understand that while on Camp Rotary’s premises, my student is covered by the camp’s liability insurance for building or equipment failures that cause harm to my student, but that injuries that are not covered by the camp’s insurance will be my student’s insurance provider’s responsibility. I further expressly authorize and consent to any medical care by qualified medical personnel for my student, if necessary, because of illness or injury which may result in the transfer to a medical facility for care.
